The idea of Sweet Melissa's has been many years in the making. As a wife & mother of five, Melissa has had plentiful opportunities to create yummy treats & cakes for birthdays and other events over the years. Eventually word got around about her creative talents and she was able to make goodies for other families as well. Now that the kids are getting older, she has begun her own adventure in hopes to be able to keep sharing the happiness with others.

 

The timing seemed right as Gig Harbor was in need of such a shop & with that a dream was born! It is Melissa's goal to be the 'go to' place for all things cakes & cupcakes. As such, she is constantly making adjustments to recipies and experimenting with new flavors. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
